Drives: 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-Turbo
Hello, I just bought a 1990 gs turbo for 500$ .. the guy said it needed some work.. So I knew what i was getting myself into.. First off, I replaced the front engine motor mount. Then I got some new tires and spark plugs. It did not pass smog, The guy said the motor has is sputtering a bit and puts out too much gasses.. What should I do now? Any help would be appreciated.. Haha attack is trying to take a potential jewel off your hands. How many miles are on the motor? Did you do a compression test?

the first cylinder is at 113, the rest were at 135 or above. The motor has 160,000 miles on it.. So I am thinking about purchasing a new motor for it. Does anyone have a motor up for grabs?
