ok im new at this stuff and i've seen some posts about 6 bolt and 7 bolt. I have a 99 eclipse gs.Thanks for any help possible!

1-what does it mean

2-which is better

3-what do i have?

You have neither. You have a 420a.

4g63's came in two main models. 6 bolt and 7 bolt. 6 bolt is stronger and more reliable. 7 bolt is more common and more prone to crankwalk. This has been discussed a million times, use the search tool.
