I suspect you are talking about a 2g TSI, wanting to swap out the current t-25 with something bigger? I think it's a great car providing it hasn't been beat or improperly modded. How about some pics? Your first mod shouldn't be a bigger turbo, btw.

I know about most first mods but you can do those any day.

T25 garret is smaller than the 1G with 14b. Faster spool I guess.
Does changing the Exaust manifold make any difference?

Either way im breaking something. Only way to learn.

Pics soon, it has that uhh turquoise color from factory with those huge moldings.

You need to follow the upgrade path. Why would you change exhaust manifolds before any of the starter mods? I think you are overly excited about this car. Calm down.

Understandable, just needed to know what I need or if I need it.

Excited yes but not that much its all time consuming.

I have an old RS eclipse that I had just changed all the upper and lower ball joints.
The Talon has problems in that area, Im going to belive its interchangable.
Fuel pump, and rotors?

Lower balljoints are on recall, so if they haven't already been done, it's free.

Ok so I go to mitsubishi for this ball joint issue?

AWD is better I presume, 4 wheels better than two?
Most guys have the AWD version, what am I missing out on?

Amen. As you can see, i loved the awd so much i got two  (jk, one's my dads). Anyhow the turbo upgrade process is pretty easy for your car, but like every1 said, do the free mods, then make a plan with steps to upgrade.

Not necessarily. What are your plans for the car? Really, the only way you might have made the wrong decision is if you plan to track or race the car in any way.

No track or race, cars go bad when you beat on them just to get a time slip.
I just want a bigger turbo with stock internals for now. I also want to do it right thats why I ask noob questions.I dont just want to throw on parts.I want to know how they work. Why remove the waste gate solinoid? stuff like that.
