today I went to the gas station and I always get 93 super gas but the guy that gave me gas decide to give me 87 which is regular. does anyone know is this going to make my engine run like sh**t or is it going to cause any problems?

Did you not see the part where he said once won't hurt it?

It's not going to hurt anything on your car, but you probably won't get as good of gas mileage as you usually do.

Don't make it a habit

This probably means that once wont hurt it and you shouldn't make it a habit. In other words, it will cause no long term problems. You might notice a slight buck in the car when you accelerate, you might notice worse gas mileage, you might notice that you don't have the same power...

But none of this stuff will hurt your car if you only do it once.
