Drives: 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
I have a 2000 Eclipse GT and the tachometer keeps bouncing around with in a 1000 rpm range, but the engine is running steady. It seems to be giving a some what accurate reading and it rises as I accelerate. I am wonder if there is something I can do someone I talked to someone who suggested a loose wire but I don't know much about the car and I don't know where the right wires are but everything I could find was secure. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

I have made a video of the problem to see if that helps get a diagnosis. I am not to familiar with the car so if you have any advise be as basic and as descriptive as possible.
