on mine when you pop the trunk, on the inside right where the light is there are 6 little knobs that you twist and its right there.

Drives: 1996 Talon AWD. Built, but no longer drives: 1997 mitsubishi eclipse RS; 1990 Talon AWD; 1995 Talon AWD, 1997 Talon AWD. Seems like a pattern
you have to remove the center panel. remove the 10mm nuts or knobs and pull the piece out
