So its time to replace my stock BOV and i was just looking for a little help on this. Of course anything will be better than the stock one I have. Iv heard a lot of people like the
Turbo XS BOV-H-RFL and I found it for pretty cheap. If i go with this one is there anything else i will need to install on a pretty much stock 92vr4 and is it easy to do yourself?

The only thing you might need is an adapter. O and you will need a plug if its open atmosphere because the stock one is closed loop. And yes its really easy to change yourself.

Just be sure not to put where the stock one is.

It needs to vent from the y-pipe after the turbos not on the bubble before the turbos.

okay. so i need a little help because im not too sure what all im looking at and what all i will need to install properly.

I noticed that there were 3 hose connected to the original stock bov. the replacement only has 2 hoses connected to it. Do i just plug the 3rd opening. IF so where do i get that plug.

Does this kit at 3sx include everything i would need to install the bov including the plug and do you have to weld this specific bov?

heres the link:

Can you explain or refer me to a diagram about the placement of the bov. im not sure what you mean by the bubble before the turbos.

Are you saying that the bov should be coming off directly from the y pipe as shown in this picture?

yes.

The blow off valve needs to be after the turbos and is easiest to use the hose off the y pipe.

You then plug the intake bubble with a, plug, d-cell battery, ECT

Isn't that pretty much the same spot as the stock then?

Some people people have indicated that using an open atmosphere could change the air mixture and harm the engine. what do you know about this?

yes it should then recirculate back into the intake bubble where I previously stated to plug.

You set it up as you wish. There is plenty of information between the 3000GT section and the eclipse turbo section to make an informed decision.

no.

The stock BOV looks like it is connected to the intake bubble and recirculates to the Y-pipe. This is actually the complete opposite.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!!

The BOV needs to be hooked the y-pipe and recirculate to the intake bubble.
