Guess I will be selling my son's car for him. His timing belt jumped a few teeth, so it bent a valve on Cylinder #1:

1992 Eagle Talon TSI (2.0 Turbo-all wheel drive)
Gen 2 Turbo with aftermarket equal-length exhaust manifold
3" exhaust (just missing down-pipe and cat)
New u-joints
New Timing Belt (both Full belt and balance shaft belt)
1 year use on clutch
5-Speed
Good Tires on 14" Mitsu-aluminum rims
Fair tires on 17" aftermarket rims available
Needs interior carpet
Has Teal paint (with peeling clear-cote on hood) with black front driver fender.

Drove great until...

Will post pics later

also post what month it was made as well. That will definately help sell it if it has a 6-bolt

March 1992. He is leaning to either keeping it a fixing it, or I might give him my working GS Auto eclipse for trade. But, it would be nice to know what it is worth.

I would give you $2000 depending on the interior and exterior condition. being made in March it is 95% possible it's a 6-bolt. Check the last page of the FAQ to find out how you can tell for sure its a 6-bolt.

Fk that. Buy a bare head and have it build. Usually its actually cheaper than having a shop redo a head for you.

You can get a stage III performance head for $1400, or a Stave VI for $2000 on SBR.com.. Just do that.

Had some bad news today, so the car will be sold. Cylinder #2 exhaust valve BROKE, pinching a hole in the cylinder, and denting the inside of the head.

Parts update:
Turbo is out of a 98 GSX
3" exhaust with 4" Koing muffler
17" rims are HSR Excel rims (white with brushed alluminum trim)
Blow-off valve

Will have pics tomorrow.

Well, the kid is on a roll. He decided to keep the car. We removed the head, and found two bent valves and a broken one. Unfortunately, it looks as if the head is toast due to the dents from the broken valve, and because of the cracked valve guides (he said they don't replace those?)

Also, it needs two pistons due to the damage.

I am debating letting him sell it for a couple hundred, or taking it myself and putting the N/A motor in it from my 92GS with the bad auto tranny. Can't decide though.

though, it's not worth fixing if the valve mangled the chamber
