Hi,

I have an 08 Outlander with a drop down rear entertainment system. I can not play other region dvd's and im not sure haw to change it.

Does anyone know haw to make them region free or can you tell me what the make and model number is.

I'm pretty sure that region locked means that the dvd in meant for another country, and you can't get around that unless you buy a dvd player made specifically for that region. It should say what region on it

For some DVD players, when there is no DVD inside and it is on, entering a specific set of keys by using the remote control may allow you access the region change menu. I am currently looking for it as well. In order to search further for that set of key, as you said, we need to know what the model and make of the DVD player is. Once I learn it I'll let you know.
