Does the stock Navi unit let you listen to music while using navigation.

If so how does it work? Does the music cut out when navigation instructions come in.

you can definitely listen to music while using the navi. you can use steering wheel controls to change music and flip through songs and stations.. also you can use the head unit to change songs but you will have to hit "NAVI" to go back to the navi screen to see where you are/where your going. but no matter whats on the screen voice guidance is going on in the background. all it does it mute the drivers side speakers and announce whats going on and where to turn. you can change the volume of the volce guidance if its too loud, i know i have. i like to look more than listen to i put it as quiet as possible and just look at the screen.
