Hi there

I've Gradually had a small issue arise with my 1996 2.5litre F31A Diamante

When i put my foot down to enter a motorway, or put my foot down at all, when my car reaches ~3200rpm, i get this sudden slight loss in power (doesn't matter what gear), its as if i've taken my foot off the gas, My cars unmodified, and served me well since 130,000ks, but being 100k's shy of 240,000km, I'm not to keen on spending a bunch of cash on it.

What i've done to rectify the issue:

Replaced the spark plugs (those back 3, what i mission! :gunsmilie: )
New Air filter
New plugs/3 leads (those boxes were a bit expensive)
Oil/filter change
Full Reset x 3 (10 minute idle, 10 minute soft drive)
Wax and polish (if it looks good, it's bound to work!)

I also gave the T/B all a good clean out and replaced a couple of seals (rear rocker cover was leaking around the edges) and around the plugs

this however has not fixed the main issue but on a good note it has given me more K's and better cold starts, all i can think of now is a kink in the fuel lines or a nasty blockage, Any thoughts are much appreciated! :57:

Have yu checked the fuel system pressure? And or replaced the petrol filter? There can be an issue of low pressure, Not totally low but low enough not to give yu teh performance needed and also the issue with cold start.
