cheap fix until you can get it done. just make sure its the right diameter that you need

EDIT: it will still leak slightly but nothing near as bad as now

MAKE SURE that there is a flex pipe right before your cat. if not you will just keep getting leaks there since a 4cyl is always bobbing. Sometimes people like to take shortccuts and just weldd a pipe where the flex pipe should be. IF this is done GET A FLEX PIPE BACK ON THERE!

I had something like that happen to me but it was the flex pipe came apart on my downpipe. The problem I had was I was on my way home from vacation and I was still 4 hours from home. Having no way to get it home other then driving it I tied it up with the spare tire cover string and drove it home. It drug along the ground for close to 250 miles and was destroyed.

Also a good exhaust shop should only charge no more than $15 to fix an exhaust leak.. lol I KNOW you can afford that... well.. unless you need a replacement flex fitting... then would be like $50 haha. THANK GOD I get free exhaust work.. :P

You know, all this talk about welding, made me think, it doesn't probably cost that much to get an oxy/acytelene welding setup. I should look into that.

Welding setups aren't cheap. They usual coast about $1000, and oxy/ace is more for cutting than welding.

It's also 2 1/2 inch so it won't work for you.
