Hey all,

I'm quite excited as I just picked up my GTS rims from the Mitsu dealer.

I dropped them off at my local tyre shop to get some rubber wrapped onto them and I'll be shooting back there in half an hour to have them fitted to the car.

That's what my ES looks like with the body kit (lip spoiler) and the stock 16 rims...looks odd hey?

I know many of you GTS owners out there think there's nothing special about your standard rims, but they don't sell the GTS model car over here so the ES model is the top of the range with the standard 16" rims, so now I've got the only Lancer in the country with imported GTS Mitsu rims and I think they're hot!!!! :P

nice

I'd like 19" Ron Jon's Legends Type I in the front:
(IMG:http://www.ronjonwheels.com/ronjonimages/large/legend_silver.jpg)
and 19" Ron Jon's Legends Type II in the rear(not as deep as on this pic, this is a pic of 20" with 3.25" dish, 19" is 1,5" deep)
(IMG:http://www.ronjonwheels.com/ronjonimages/large/legendii_silver.jpg)

this would send me back over 2G's with no tires, so it's big nono for now.
I might be lucky enough to find them used somewhere...someday...

I was thinking about doing the same thing, are the gts rims you got 16''? Or did you get new tires as well?

No, they're 18" GTS rims, so new tyres too.
I'm hanging onto the original rims and tyres for now.

Hey what is up with those white spots by the rear door? Is it just low quality pictures or your paint is peeling off? Just asking...

Looks great! The more I see the lip spoiler, the more I like it. But I can't complain... the GTS wing blocks the headlamps from people driving behind me :)

What size tires did you put on those rims?

Thanks! Yeah I had the GTS spoiler on. I ordered a body kit with lip spoiler and the dealer put the GTS wing on by mistake. It took them about a month or so to get more stock of silver Lancers and when they did they took the trunk lid off the new car and put it on mine with lip spoiler. I didn't mind the big wing too much but the lip spoiler is definitely more my style.

I put 225/40/18's on the rims. It's a far more common size tyre over here. The 215/45/18 or 225/45/18 are quite rare leaving costs very high and choice very low.

As long as you don't have harsh winters that will terrorize your streets and make basketball sized potholes, I think you'll be fine ;)

I haven't hit a pothole in years fortunately
I don't have too many around my area and we don't have winters...I think the coldest it got this past winter was 17 degrees centigrade. Spring starts in a week and then summer starts for another 10 months!
