Hey I know its been posted before but the last thread was semi hiijacked.....

SO anyways. I was vacuuming out my car yesterday evening, and I notice that the seats are really really hard to get clean. We have a dog so there is always something on our clothing at some point. Its not just dog dander either though, any kind of lint wont come off either so im pretty annoyed with it cause my 4 month old car looks terrible on the inside.

I've tried lint cleaning adhesive strips and armor all multi purpose cleaner ( it says its good for seats)

Does anyone have any suggestions for me ? Or should I just go blow a hundred on getting it cleaned at a car detailing place?.

Or does anyone have suggestions on seat covers that are not ridiculously stupid looking?

No no no, you gotta solve the problem at the roots! Ditch the dog.

...

OK FINE YOU ANIMAL LOVERS! Steam clean the area first, then vacuum. The steam will lift the hair off the upholstery and the vacuum will pull it away. As for the lint issue, I have no problems with mine. I take my car to Lucky's and get the second most expensive wash (I don't need the upholstery shampoo'ed yet) and they leave the interior spotless.

Then again... I'm usually alone in the car or driving around with my girlfriend.
