Ok I have finally finished my car that I have been working on and off on for about a year and a half(busy man) but anyway. This gas is very weak now so I have to drain the half a tank that is left in the car. I bough a syphon but I can't get it to the tank becuase of all the bends in the fill tube. Any ideas. Is there a way that I can undo the fuel line before the filter and remove the relay for the fuel pump, straight wire it at the box and let the fuel pump pump it all out? I just defintely don't want to ruin the pump. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks for your time!

If the hose you bought is too big and stiff then try this. All you need is some small hose and a bucket. Stick the hose in the fill neck to the bottom and stick the hose straight up for a few feet out of the neck. Suck the gas up the hose near the top and cover it with your thumb. Put that end into the bucket(lower than the tank obviously) and let go of the hose.

Now if the neck has places that are catching the hose then there should be a place like you're talking about after the pump that you can disconnect the fuel hose and pump it out. But it will be more of a pain.

Isn't there a drain plug on the bottom of the tank?
