I want to go drive one of these and the 2009 265hp WRX. Reviews I've read of the Ralliart have been so-so, but I'm still hopeful it'll hit a bang-for-the-buck sweet spot.

I JUST TRADED IN MY '09 GTS WITH SUN AND SOUND PACKAGE FOR THE '09 RALLIART. PROBABLY NOT THE SMARTEST THING I COULD DO; BUT SO FAR I THINK IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I HAVEN'T OPENED IT UP JUST YET BECAUSE I'M GOING TO BREAK IT IN FIRST. BUT FROM THE GRANNY-LIKE DRIVING THAT I HAVE BEEN DOING, IT IS QUICK. LOTS OF FUN EVEN JUST BABYING IT. THE HANDLEING , ACCELERATION, BRAKING, SHIFTING, ETC IS A HUGE UPGRADE FROM THE GTS. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MITSUBISHI'S NEWEST VEHICLE. NOW I'M JUST WAITING FOR A TURBO TIMER AND A BOOST CONTROL FOR THIS LITTLE BAD-BOY. AND JUST AS ALWAYS I APOLOGIZE FOR TYPING IN ALL CAPS BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK.

Slappy,

I test drove one tonight and in the delema, I'll be giving up so much coin on the trade (09 GTS Sun & Sound) but what excellent car the 09 Ralliart is. Very fast and a good in between the GTS and EVO. Mits did good on this one, wished it was offered in Standard and could pick your options ie Sound system. But SST is awesome.

FROM WHAT I'VE BEEN RESEARCHING; MITSUBISHI HAS BEEN TOYING WITH THE IDEA FOR A 5-SPEED MANUAL TO COME OUT SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE. I'M NOT SO SURE HOW ACCURATE THAT REALLY IS, I KNOW I WOULD'VE RATHERED A 5-SPEED BUT THE SST TRANNY AINT BAD, IT AINT BAD AT ALL. I'VE ALSO BEEN READING THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MOST OF THE OPTIONS THAT THE EVO HAS OFFERED. ALL I KNOW IS THAT THE RECARO PACKAGE WAS OFFERED IN THE NORTH EAST WHEN I PURCHASED MINE. NOT THAT I REALLY CARE BECAUSE I AM JUST HAPPY WITH DOWNGRADING ALL OF THE OPTIONS FOR A VEHICLE THAT MOVES.
