So, I have been wanting to do some interior work, and I had looked into doing the interior trim with hydro graphics (see thread here). I had decided against it, and thought about painting it red, but black and red has been so overdone. I finally decided to do it burnt orange, and since my father had recently painted one of his Z's, and had some extra paint left over. I removed and prepped the parts, and sprayed a couple color coats and a couple coats of clear. I am letting the parts cure overnight, but will post installed pics tomorrow or Tues. Heres some pics of the parts painted and a few of my poor car torn apart =(

Watcha think of black with burnt orange (and tan interior?) The color is Sunset Orange Met. I'm very apprehensive. I guess I'll see tomorrow, or whenever I can get to installing them. I start classes back tomorrow =( Work 9-5 School 6-10:30....this sucks

On a side note, why'd ya decide against the Hydro?

I'm going to try to get the camera out when I put it all together, and write a how-to. Its really not that hard :gunsmilie: And FMP, I decided against it (for now at least) just cause of $$$. It wasn't that expensive, but this was FREE!!

 Nice job ;]

BTW your Lancer is the first one I see with two toned interior.
I thought that in US they all come in one toned black (not including the pillars and roofliner).

I've had alot of people tell me that, but I think it might be because I have the Technology & Chrome Package (ES w/ FAST, Sirius, chrome window moldings, but no RF sound, and no sunroof), and I think that is pretty rare. I didn't like the tan that much at first, but it's growing on me

I've got the pictures. I'll post the pics of the finished product in a little while, and also, the how-to will be coming possibly later today.

Great job awg0020! It's nice to see something different every once in a while. Everybody here has the black interior for the Lancer... you have the tan and you made it look fashionable too.

+10!
