Drives: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante

At first when I had a problem with the 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante the CoDe display came on. I entered wrong codes and saw the "OFF: show up as well. I was even able to leave the ignition on and CoDe eventually appeared again. NOW THAT I GOT THE CODE FROM M-F, I can't get anything to read on the display to enter the code. I verified power IS going to the radio. I measure 12+ Volts on the Blue wire and the red/black wire which I believe is what provides power. Fuses are good.

DO you know if the radio just powers off and will not power on after TOO MANY INVALID CODE entries?

IS there a way to get the radio to reset? Iv'e already done things like leave on in ACC for 15 min. Iv'e also pulled the whole radio out overnight. And I've left the Battery disconnected for a couple hours. Do you have any idea what's going on or how to fix this problem?

Any answer is worth trying here. I would like to avoid buying a new radio.
Thanks a million for the radio code!

RADIO WAS WORKING UNTIL BATTERY DIED FOR TOO LONG. WHEN CHARGED up CODE did Initially show up...
