I was talking to a mate who told me he just installed the Fujita SRI on his Lancer. When I heard those words i nearly jumped out of my skin and I told him about the bad rep it has here with the CEL issue. He then told me that he has the version three intake has anyone heard about this version 3? I will keep in touch with him and let you guys know of any issues/perks.

I still wouldn't do it. Fujita has already earned their rep... even if the V3 works perfectly fine, that's still a 2-1 record. Besides, even if your buddy doesn't have the CEL issue, he might get it further down the line.

One of the members here was running a Fujita just fine for a month, then the light came on. You never know.

Yeah i refuse to even take a second look at it because of the first one that was rushed, never knew about version two. I figure I didn't know about version two because no one really cares for Fujita enough to mention them. I personally am getting the Injen. I will just let you guys know what goes one with him, so far he likes it says it is very loud.

Issues? What issues?

They had a warehouse fire.

...

That's only one issue. Singular, not plural.

I wish they would come out with the CAI instead... any SRI seems pointless to me

It's louder than a CAI because the filter sits right behind the heatshield.

Seriously though, SRI's are better for 0-60 times because you need as much boost off the line as possible. CAI's are only truly efficient in the mid-range RPMs.

Okay so today 8 months after install I find out the Intake had to be removed. It caused the engine to run lean therefore tripping the CEL
