Should I go for Solid or Hydraulic?

What grind? 270 or 284?

YAYAYA!!! Found the rod sepcs and this is strait out of the 1g haynes manual:

Crankshaft and connecting rods (All Engines) :o

Connecting rod journal
Diameter............................. 1.771 inches (44.9834mm)
Out-of-round limit................ 0.0006 inch (0.01524mm)
Taper Limit.......................... 0.0002 inch (0.00508mm)
Connecting rod bearing oil clearence
Standard....................... 0.0008 to 0.0020 inch (0.02032 to 0.0508mm)
Service Limit................. 0.004 inch (0.1016mm)
Connecting rod endplay (Side Clearence)
Standard.............................. 0.0039 to 0.0098 inch (0.09906 to 0.24892mm)
Service Limit........................ 0.016 (0.4064mm)

EDIT: All conversions (Inches to Millimeters) was done via google. The Haynes manual only listed inches.)

that's all you need to know. if it says "all engines" you have the same rods and crank as a 4g63
