well ,i had to redo my freeze plugs on my head and removed my timing to get to one,and now i have it all together but the tool i rented to put my harmonic balancer back on does not work,my treads inside the crankshaft are to far back to grab with the tool i rented(which is what was called to use for my car).I dont think your suppost to beat it on enough to get the bolt in and run it on all the way.

can anyone help with this minor problem i have. This is not the first time i have done timing on a car but im unsure of this.maybe the shop gave me the wrong tool but he said that was all they had,and it did not have a long enough bolt to hit my threads.

nvm,i tapped it on enough to use the bolt and run it in.
