I plan on buying this car but I'm kinda new to buying a mitsu so bear with me.
I saw an ad in craigslist selling this car for $2600 and with 170000 miles.

The car has a moonroof. No power windows. The exterior has a few small dents, with a tiny bend in the hood. And its missing a door handle on the passenger side. The interior itself is extremely clean (though i still would like to detail it because i don't want to find any used q-tips lying around.) It runs great with an easily fixable power steering squeak (belt should just be tightened, I think). Engine seems like it's been rebuilt though which is a good thing I guess. Mechanic said there's nothing wrong with it. The high mileage is the only thing that puts me off, otherwise its a fine looking car. What do you guys think? Is it worth it?

I wouldn't pay a cent more than $1500.

i have around $1000 in mine and its in better condition than that,although i had to redo my head gasket,lawl :P.

ill sell you mine when im done with the new head gasket and all that.

so far i replaced:

Windshield(lifetime warranty)
Radiator(lifetime warranty)
Water Pump
Timing
Head Gasket(in process of fixing)
I pealed all the Tint ,i might redo it
looks like the car in your pic(very similar)

I paid $2500 for my 95 GS, with less miles, and still got ripped.
No more than $1500 for that RS.
