New member---Please help!! 1995 mitsubishi eclipse non- turbo 2.0 engine. Sunroof was working fine one minute then wouldn't close the next.It will start to close get almost to the point where it's gonna lay flat then it pops back open by itself.Can't go any where when it rains, got 2 small kids and they don't like to get soaked unless it's in a swimmimg pool.Have taken headliner out and tried to close manually, the motor works fine and there isn't anything in the track that i can see. I have checked all my fuses but If there is a relay I don't know where to find it.Even tried to bypass the motor and manual close.So far all I have accomplished is getting depressed.If I could just get it closed so that it would stay it would be wonderful.Single mom so I can't afford to take it to a shop,I try to do my own work if I can, but I need help on this one. Anyone know how I can fix this, reset it or atleast get it closed. Thanks!!!

i would say your switch is sticking then.thats what it sounds like to me.

Does it move at all?

yea he said it moves,but he said it opens ,when it gets all the way closed.like the switch is sticking.

Sorry what I meant to ask does it open all the way? If it does check to make sure there isnt anything stuck in the rails.
