Well the dealership owed me...so they got them in & here they are.

They are kinda eh.....thought they would have been different...but they are o.k.

Look good.....

Heres the drivers door:

Here is the rear drivers door:

3 pieces of 3M sticky tape to adhere them to the paint...after you use alcohol to wipe down the surface 1st. No problems so far. No rubbing issues with the door or anything.

Sorry the pics look crappy....used my cell phone again.

Very nice looking... lets hope this is one thing that goes right for you... I think everything you've put on with adhesive has gone right. Perhaps you should just use that on every mod

LOL...

I also have the scuff plate installed. They're okay, helps protect the paint when you step in and out from your car.

The Works Exhale worked perfectly fine... it was just too loud for his taste (See: Couldn't hide it from the wife).

I likes them though. You should color the word "Lancer" in Red to match the car.

I wish they would make something like this for the plastic piece in that same location. Eerybody always hits it whenever they get in or out and it's starting to look really bad. Anybody know of a remedy?

+1, thats the area that REALLY needs a guard.
How bad is yours tho?
I'm guessing you can clean it with any interior cleaner, but there isn't much that I can think of to fix it, except make a cover for it out of a soft material.
But it would have to be on pretty strong not to get kicked off and reveal what its covering.

My interior is black, so it shows everything.
Mitsu could've shaped that area better, so that it wouldn't be an easy kick-scratch situation.

Would love to do that....but with the wife & kids....they would easily scrape the color off. They are nowhere near as careful as I am with my car......
Would look great though

Thanks for the post 6feet...otherwise I wouldn't have known these were available.
Picked them up from the dealership yesterday, and popped them on today.
Your right, was pretty easy to put on, and I really like them :D
Cost me 150$ CDN. Everything is in the box that you need.
Cheers!

Saw a similar none OEM item over at e-bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...WNA:MOTORS:1123

Just want to ask you guys what your take on it since:

- I am really hesitant making a purchase on ebay
- quality for none OEM parts
- will a door sill really do anything for the car aside of making it look good

The price is pretty good...so even if they stink....you wouldn't be out so much.
Besides...it shows that he offers a 7 day refund.

If oyu have kids like me....they kinda drag their feet when they get in or out.....resulting in the door sills getting scratches in the paint. Looks pretty ugly when that happens. Theses plates just cover up the area & protect it. They add a nice "bling" to the car, but other than that...not really much else to them.

This is the 1st time that I have seen these VS. OEM....Hopefully they are not too thick where the door would close....don't think that they are...but that was my concern when I bought the OEM's....didn't want the door to rub on them when I open & close it....to this day...ZERO issues.

I'd say go for it....give them a try...the price it right. If you get them & they turn out to be garbage....too flimsy...send them back.

Why not send an email to the seller and ask them did they design these for 08+ Lancer or not?

Personally, I'm not big on purchasing from Ebay. Call me a fool if you wish, but I'm all about the quality, and I don't mind spending the "extra buck" buying from the dealership. Atleast then, if you do have a problem, you have a recipt in-hand, and you can talk straight up to a person. I'm not big on dealing over the internet or over the phone unless its necassary.

However, I just added these sills to meh Lancerz and I personally think they look great! I've only had the car a few months, but seen that this could be a real wear'n'tear spot. If you find they look to bland, paint the "LANCER".

Everytime I step into the car, look down, and its all like "YAH!mahfuggenlanceryo!" :D
