Okay I crank up the car, put it reverse back up, stop, put it in drive, then press the gas pedal and hear a noise almost like doors locking, but its coming from the back of the car. If I just put the car is drive after backing up it does not make the noise. I have to press the gas pedal to get the noise to happen. Yes I have a CVT.

I have this too on mine and I have no idea what they hell it is. I pretty much ignore it as its only when I start it for the first time.

Happens to mine too... CVT. It only happens the first time when I drive in the morning, regardless if I reverse first. Sounds like a loud click.

I get that sometimes on my manual too... I think it's the suspension on these cars - it just makes a lot of weird noises at times...

And here i thought the doors were auto-locking whenever i hear it upon accelerating in drive after reversing.
