it depends on how much work you can do yourself. for a shop to do it, plan on spending a months worth of labor charges, if not more. ($50/hr * 160hrs = $8000 in labor alone)

Sick but you do have a point. I think there's a guy who would do it for 5 grand which to me is within the budget limits of letting someone do a turbo install for me.

Don't get me wrong I really do understand what you guys are saying, I was just needed some input for some some ruff numbers.

I think this would be a worthwhile swap for a guy who bought an RS or GS dirt cheap and could do all the labor himself.

I kinda look at it this way if say ya bought a GS for 17 grand off the floor room and did the swap it still brings ya up to the price of a GST off the floor room after all's said and done.

Would it be reliable I don't know only time would tell this is the first I've heard of it being done, Heck everybody else is talking Neon swaps!
