i own a two door mitsubishi pajero 1999 i dont have the manual and il like to know what does a flashing light in my board means the symbol is like a near empty ( of some liquid) plastic bowl

Hey there,

No need to panic.......but I think your drawing is a bit crude to exactly show the actual diagram (heheh, good one Jim).

It's a plastic container alright and it means :

LOW HEADLIGHT WASHER FLUID WARNING LAMP.

Just fill the headlight washer tank located in your engine compartment, I think it's located adjacent to your power steering oil tank/brake fluid tank. :grin:

That is the widescreen/front lamp washer resevior low on washer fluid symbol

Unbievelable, why would you have a warning light on that !

Next thing you know we will have indicators when the AC needs a service or pollen filter is dirty. Why not install something useful like a measure when oil needs changing or your air filter is clogged.

thank you very much. you know the thing is that i just bought the car and i havent learn it yet i thought it hat to be something like that because the symbol was pretty obvious but i wanted to be sure , because the day before i bought the car it show some noise with the rubber belts ( they had never been changed and so they got crystalized so they screecht a little sometime when its hot) and i thought it had something to do with that

I understand , the low washer level is like WTF? I have that on my car . I do have a warning in my climate control unit to alert if i need to servive my cabin air filters LoL. And engine oil life ha ha ha. Also i have brake pad wear sensor warning light , low coolant level light etc LoL
