Hey guys, I'm building a 4G63T for my 99 Spyder, and I was wondering if anyone knew whether the bolt patterns from the normal 5-speed and the EVO III MR 6-speed were the same. Any help would be much appreciated. I haven't been able to find it anywhere, thanks guys!

Well, for one, the EVOIII MR is AWD whereas the spyder is FWD. That would be your first problem. lol

The answer is no even if the spyder was AWD the EVO 8 & 9 tranny does not hook up to the eclipse version of the 4g63.

Not only that, but that tranny is designed to turn the opposite direction, notice it's on the other side of the car...

Yeah, that's the thing. The EVO III and lower does match the Eclipse 4G63 as far as arrangement of everything. I guess I should ask if the EVO III had a 6-speed tranny first, huh? Then from there whether the patterns are the same.

Yeah, the 6-speed wasn't until the 9 MR edition to my knowledge.... Could be wrong, but that's the only one I've ever seen the 6 in.
