Rubber mats are more durable than the cheap OEM fabric ones. I bought a set of Michelin all weather mats last winter and I've been using them for nearly a year. They still look brand new. Picked them up at my local AutoZone for $40, which is awesome because I needed all weather mats anyways... I didn't think they'd be so damn durable.

Michelin FTW.

When I had my Grand Am they had that on the drivers mat. It helped out I guess but I had to replace the mats b/c of the snow in NY.
I could use one of those now, the stock one has wear in it now... I think eventually I will just he get the rubber ones though. Better for the beach and stuff.
