1998 eclipse rs automatic
Alright so i got my check engine light checked and it is a loose gas cap. i wanted to know if its alright to unplug my battery without messing anything up with my cars settings?

the only settings that it is going to mess up are your radio setting, you will have to reprogram the time and your favorite stations, but other than that you will be alright...

Make sure to get your battery connection on tight when you hook it back up. Otherwise you might get another check engine light.
