Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 5-September 08 Member No.: 63,867 Status: Location: USA Drives: 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT	Hey, I have an 03 Eclipse GT V6 I'm interested in adding to my car to make it truly the performance car I know it can be. I'm very good with cars, however, I haven't the slightest idea of where to begin. Do I start with a CAI or new brakes or something else. Any advice would be great

CAI is dumb. Get a supercharger kit for it ($6000) Get good springs, shocks, brakes, tires, lighter wheels...($3000) Weight reduce to the max by ripping out the entire interior(FREE) There you go. You now have a 14 second car.

Figure out how much power your gonna be getting then get brakes for it. No need for brakes if you don't have power. No need for power if you can't stop it. First figure out your budget then let us know.
