I got my 01 Galant ES used at 95000 miles and this is what I've done to it as far as maintenance. Got a new battery, replaced the terminals, new pcv valve, spark plugs and wires, Felpro valve cover gasket, new oil cap, air filter, bled brakes replaced with full synthetic Valvoline fluid, drained and replaced power steering with full synthetic Valvoline fluid, drained and replaced engine coolant and radiator cap, replaced windshield wipers, replaced all light bulbs, complete fuel system cleaned at Wal-Mart, inspect belts for wear and tears, check brake pads and rotors, rotate tires as needed, check hoses for pin holes, check wheel alignment. If I remember correctly change the transmission fluid at 106,000 miles. Hope this helps you out....
