i have a 2003 mitsubishi galnt 2.4 4cyl es and i get terriable scrathes very easy the paint sucks i have also seen other galants the same way i got it at 69,800 miles it now has 92,000 what should i do

You can get the QUIXX Repair System (High Perormance Scratch Remover) for $ 21 to help you with your scratches, and then apply a nice coat of Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax to your car and you should be good to go. Go to the link and it shows you how it works and its tested against other products as well.

any car with its paint neglected will have a crappy finish over time.

I have had my car garaged, waxed and polished annually with fantastic results.

Lighter colors also hide hairpin scratches better than darker ones.

I can recommend using KLASS AIO and Sealant if you park outdoors. The synthetic blend will last longer requiring less maintenance, assuming you follow its application and prep instructions.
