nope, i got two sets of steelies with blizzaks, ws-50 on one set and ws-60 on the second, i picked them up very slightly used for $250 in Cleveland, OH last year.
Those fit mitsu as well, but I run these on my Mazda.
I need to buy another set for myself this year...
Slightly used 16'' steelies wrapped with blizzaks, x-ice's, alpins or wintersports work for me! If you come across anything, let me know

If you don''t mind using your stock wheels, Tire Rack has Michelin X-Ice tires for about $640 (USD) with a $50 rebate. Sam's Club has them for about the same price (I'm not sure if they're stocked in Canadian Sam's Club stores, but I would assume they are).

If you're close to the US border, Discount Tire will usually match Tire Rack's prices on just about anything, with free installation.

Thanks for the info. I just looked at Tirerack today coincidently. But after the duty charges, the brokerage fees and the shipping, I'm at just under $1000 for the four tires, and I still need to pay someone to install on my rims.

I getting worried, because the snow is on it's way.
I might have to buy plain rims and go with 16's. :(

No reason to get worried. I kept the stock Dunlops on my 18" rims and I faired well in the snow. Sure, I had a hell of a time getting out of my garage after 6" of snowfall overnight, but I survived.

Heh Definitely not stock-tire weather here thats for sure. Especially when it gets down to -30, the all seasons get so hard they just provide no traction at all. About 30% of a tire's effectiveness comes from the compound and its softness.

You may actually want to look at 15" instead of 16", but it's just a thought.

Are you serious??? I personally think the dunlops that come with the 08 GTS are the worst ive ever had in the snow and that includes the tires that came with my prelude and my s2000 lol. If i were you id go with the 16 or 17inch recommended sizes on tirerack should be able to find them around here for a reasonable price. In fack even tirerack has the firestone studdables which have great reviews for 67 a tire which even after shipping and everything is still only like 300-400 to your door which is very reasonable.

Good luck, just dont for the love of god try to make it through the winter with the stocks i did it last year and it was the dumbest idea ever.

Chicago winters have been soft lately (thanks global warming!), so that's why I was able to survive with the stock GTS rims. I still want to get 17" and some 235/55s on them as sort of an all weather performance tire. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

I'd rather not have to swap rims twice a year because of weather (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

15" rims will NOT fit on a GTS due to the larger brakes.

You are fortunate my friend that you don't have to. Where I live, we got a record high of 108" of snow last season. that's 9 feet of snow! I live in Madison, WI BTW, just 2.5 hrs north of you. no way in H.E. Double hockey sticks am I running the stock dunlops. They suck on dry roads! imagine them in snow!

are the brakes on the 08 GTS the same size as the ones on the 09 GTS? I'm looking for tires and a lot of places don't have the 09 in their "system" yet. Tirerack for example only shows winter tires for 18" wheels for the 09, but has 16, 17, and 18 sizes for the 08. I'm looking to get some 16" steelies and tires
