My 2001 Galant Es has oil in spark plug tubes 2 and 4. My oil pressure light would come on for only a few seconds.I have replaced the valve cover gasket and the spark plug tube seals and since then the light does NOT come on. My engine is easy to start and does NOT misfire when I drive. I Inspected the spark plugs and there were no oil deposits on the electrodes, but there was oil above them. Also, the area where the valve cover and spark plug cables meet has a shinny look to it and I can tell there is oil underneath them. Im thinking the oil tubes might be loose. Can someone please help me? thanks

Never really seen this either , jusy make sure the spark plug tube grommets arent shoved on , they sit lightly on top of the tube and the cam cover applies the pressure against them. Pushing them on a little farther than needed will not make them seal as tight.

Also a pcv valve that isnt working correctly will keep lots of pressure around that area. Replace the pcv valve
