Just pick up a used engine for $500 and throw it in there. You'll have more money in parts trying to fix that thing.

Thanks for the advice. I already scored some rocker arms on ebay, so I'll give those a try first.

I haven't seen any 6g72's for only $500 either, but I haven't been looking too hard.

You're pissing in the wind if you think just replacing the roller rockers is going to do anything. Your valves are bent. You need to replace/repair your cylinder heads.

I'm not trying to be a prick.... but I know what I'm talking about :). I've worked on one or 200 of these before. Visit www.car-part.com and pickup a pair of cylinder heads, then visit your local autoparts store and order a head gasket kit.

no foul.... It would have been fun to get this sucker running, but it really needs more than an engine. It has a bunch of parts I need for my regular car - already started harvesting.
