This should help.

-Check clutch and brake fluid
-Inspect brakes and components
-Change the spark Plugs and wires
-Change the air filter
-Change the oil and filter
-Check the Thermostat
-Coolant flush/new radiator cap
-Flush transmission fluid
-Replace timing belt and others
-Change the fuel filter
-Clean throttle body

Try those things first, especially the ones in bold.
If that doesn't help, check the fuel pressure, and make sure you are getting proper pressure.
I am dealing with something similar, but not as bad.
I have already replaced the all that stuff, plus the fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pump relay is next. Check that as well. It's about $20.
After that, check the fuel pump itself. That is my last resort.

i had a similar prob on my 8g galant and it was dirty fuel injectors: bottle of 'stp' did the trick.also ( b4 spending $ ) check 4 a vacum leak around gasket between manifold and throttle body.
