Hello All, I need to replace my thermostat on a 2002 Diamante, but I can't find it. I have the thermostat, but can't find where it goes.

Can someone please help?

4 cyl or V6

follow the top radiator hose to were it fits to the motor
you will be close to the thermostat housing

Yea that's what I thought, but wrong answer.
I found it. It is not at the neck of the TOP hose where they usually are, it is under the housing where the BOTTOM hose connects to the block. Kinda weird i think. This is the first one that I've ever seen in this location. Thanks for the reply. I changed it today.

It is located there because of the flow pattern of the coolant
