Ok so first things first. My front Right air splitter got completely demolished while driving...badluck mixed with some driver error. If I understand correctly, these are separate from the bumper and I can buy a replacement for them. I checked mitsuparts.com and they did not have a splitter, only the air dam, which I do not believe also has a splitter. Secondly, the area around the foglight and teh foglight itself seems to be jingled loose, but it good condition. I am not sure what to do or where I can order parts. I was wondering what my options are for replacing them? Are the air dams attached to the bumper? I do not know much about the set up. Also if any one out there in Socal is looking to sell an OE GTS bumper, I am now interested. ANY help is appreciated thanks!!!

I have just upgraded the front of my car with a lip kit, and removed my old GTS front stock splitter lips, if your car is black you will be in luck. the driver side one has a scratch on the bottom, but the passenger one is ok. If your interested let me know, if not I am going to toss them up on EBAY

unpainted the cost of two of them are is about 250 or 300 dollars, then you gotta paint them paint it for about 200 bucks more, less because its only one.

i imported it from asia, cost an arm and a leg, but that was due to air freight charges. I did the group buy for in my car club because it was more cost effective shipping bulk paying to ship one.

i will be posting pics online when the weather improves, having a black car means, its dirty all the time.

Damn, I wish they would have that type of stuff in Canada, or at least the USA. Maybe in a couple of years heh. That is so sweet though, I would totally put that on... anyway we're drifting :offtopic: here.

Hmmm anyone know anything about this APR CF splitter? I am assuming it is just the middle (black piece) and does not include the original GTS splitters...

Also, anyone making any carbon fiber bumpers for our car? I am debating whether or not too replace the bumper as it is slighlty damaged.

I admit I had a few drinks tonight, but if you want my opinion, I would highly recommend not jumping into a full bumper replacement, if i knew my EVO X rear bumper was going to cost me 1300 total cost, I would have not gone for it. doing this front and back lip that I did just now saved me half the cost. about 1300, when my car got into an accident with that bodykit, the bodyshop didnt want to do it. they said it just was a pain in the ass.

if your going to do a bodykit, do it with a bodykit you trust

Well that is the thing, I do not really want a body kit. However it looks like all the aftermarket bumpers are lower than our sideskirts... :( Anyone know of a aftremarket bumper that is not lower, or a place to get a tarmacblack OEM bumper? (aside from the dealership of course).

to me its all about the front, if it has a functional splitter then thats what counts. looks are good, performance is better. if the side skirts dont match up perfectly its not that bad. problem with our car is we dont even have a rear skirt.

EvoSoul.. this may be :offtopic: but do you have any other plans for future mods? and what is your current list of mods. Post a link if you already have a place stating this info.

Thanks :liebe011:

I will be creating a blog in the next few days, it wil allow me to consolidate things a bit better. Also i have been spending more time organizing the Toronto Lancer club so my efforts into projects has been reduced.

projects include

1. Single Exhaust Development, doing all the R&D for a exhaust manufacturer just for the joy of it. This project is almost identical to the dual exhaust project i completed.

2. CVT Boost project, but it may wonder into SuperCharger Territory

there are other things but i dont want to say much just yet
