hey all, do yall know if there are any reputable tint shops in Toronto/durham/scarborough Canada.

I heard some horror stories on tints on lancers. simply put it can't be done.

the straches are allot - due to the weatherstrip. i heard from a tint place that if u take the weather strip off it looks ugly

there hasnt been a way around the matter. allot of lancers have been coming back due to straches

any advice on the matter

thanks
russ

I know everyone complains about the scratching on the tint, but I personally dont really notice it. I mean, you can see a few scratches from the inside of the window.. but from the outside.. nada.

Personally, to me, if you cant see it on the outside who cares... But thats just me.

tried the moleskin and it didn't work for me - still scratched. eventually had to have both rubbers trimmed-off. it leaves a few mm's gap between glass and panel but you cant really notice the difference.

Well I guess most of the shops should replace those rubber things that scrach the tint and add something to them or replace them. I just got mine finioshed with that soft material as older cars have.

But pretty much stay away from tint king, i had to come back to fix the scratches they made duting installation on my scratsh proof tint :S

They didnt even finish job right second time, i just couldnt afford to waste more time to fix it again.
