Hi Everybody,

I got the bluetooth onboard kit installed on my Outlander 2008. Seems to be working fine, but when on the phone, only the right speaker is working, and the left one remains silent... Is it the normal behaviour, and has anybody already encountered this? Did they just forget to plug left speaker cable to the bluetooth unit?

Same thing on my 08 Lancer.....for some reason....that's just how they are. I don't know if it is supposed to simulate having like your passenger talking to you....if that makes any sense. There have been a bunch of people asking on the forums here if there was any way to have it come from both front speakers & so far the answer has been no.......

Hello,

I just discovered something today. I have been looking for it since I bought my car.

I discovered some settings for the bluetooth.

To access the settings, you press "SOUND MENU" button for 2 seconds (at least in my Pajero 2008), and then you get the settings for SVC. Press again the same button, you get the Phone Settings.

Here you can change with the Folder button, to choose the required settings, between which you find : IN-L, IN-R and IN-LR.

I think your problem can be solved by choosing the IN-LR.

Something else regarding this option. By default the settings was set to OFF, which means that the bluetooth will not use the car speakers.

By putting it to IN-LR, I could solve the other problem of the low volume sound with Nokia mobiles.

Now the voice is really high.

Hope this will help.

Rrgards.
