Find a parking garage and put it in there if possible

yeah get up somewhere high. Its supposed to be about a cat 3 or 4 when it hits tommorow. Depending on the path we might be getting out of here... You got a mall around? Some of them have the taller parking lots, just cozy up in there. Where in E Texas are ya.... hopefully not Corpus or Houston lol

im in tyler, tx. so at least im away from the coast; though the storm is still supposed to pass right over us either as a cat. 1 hurricane or a tropical storm. the parking garage is a good idea, but there is only one here in tyler, and its not open to the public. so that sucks.

its all good. it wasnt quite as bad as the news people were making it out to be. we had a ton of evacuees here in tyler, so i didnt drive anywhere that weekend. weather wise, it wasnt really rainy, but there was some serious wind. a few trees fell where i usually park, so im glad i didnt leave it where it was. i eventually ended up parking between two bigger vehicles so they would sorta act as shields. that worked out pretty well; car is still in one piece  .
