Hi All,

I just purchased a use 2007 Outlander LS, with the sun and sound package (with bluetooth). I tried setting up the bluetooth but did not get very far. When I press any of the bluetooth buttons, nothing happens. The car is in park as recommended by the manual, and of course the car is also started. When I press the talk button, nothing happens at all. The radio is playing, and continues to play when I press any of the buttons. Any ideas? Thanks!

Same problem here. The satellite radio subscription ended and i received an update from sirius. As results, my bluetooth steering wheels controls are dead...

Help please! :crying:

I went to the dealership and the technician looked at my settings with his computer and the bluetooth was already active and nothing looked wrong. He took the radio off and reconnected the wires as a last try before calling Mitsubishi. It worked. Disconnecting the radio resetted the bluetooth. :)
As a result, you also have to re-enter your phone and preferences. :(

BTW: To take the radio off, he took off (easily uncliped) the two vents on each side of the radio and unscrewed the radio. :57:

Hmm...I'm now wondering if I have the bluetooth module already installed or not? I bought the car used, so the Sirius subscription has ended already. I haven't read about this happening to anyone else though. If your BT used to work, I'd just bring it to a dealer and have them re-connect it, or re-activate it. It costs $90 to install (if you have the module, which you obviously already do), so I can't imagine it costing more than $90 to fix, unless the module is bad, in which case you would have to pay $180 (ebay) for a new one, and another $90 to install, or maybe even $180 for removal/re-install. The $90 is probably just a straight 1-hour labor charge. Hope this helps. I'll update mine once I figure out what's going on.
