My wife has a 2001 dodge intrepid. The transmission blew in it about 6 months ago. We put in a junkyard one with about 65k miles on it.... and it just blew too.

Now we are still in debt $1800 for the repair, $4000 on the car... and it is looking like another $1800 repair.

UGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

how many miles did you get out of the one from the jy? was it professionally installed? the reason I ask is if you only got lik 50 miles out of it you should go complain. might not help but woth a shot

About 8k miles. And it was semi-professionally installed.

My bro in law did it. He is a certified tech, he has been working for honda and toyota for about 6 years now.

I think the yard garaunteed it for 90 days only.
