at first my back wipers were not working.. checked the fuses.. all was well so i pulled out the INT button and saw that it wasnt even connected.. so i plugged it back in.. then i realised that when its plugged in the back wipers keep on going even if i dont press down the button.. and when i do press it down u can hear the pump tryna spray the water but nothing comes out, even tho its topped up.. so kinda strange.. back wipers dont stop and water does not spray... i can see y maybe the previous owner had unplugged it.. any ideas? thanks guys

I had that happen on my old 94 sl, and to fix mine I had to change out the switch. You may try to take it off, and check the contacts to see if the were hitting or not. But mine I had to switch the switch.

when you say the washer bottle is full up do mean the back one, the filler is on the hatch landing panel!

I would check the washer fluid line. If you open the back hatch in the upper right corner there is a hose that the fluid is pumped from. Disconnect the hose and then press the button. There is a chance that the nozzle is just plugged. That was the case with my front windshield nozzles about a month ago. If it gets pumped ok, then you know that the nozzle is clogged. I used HOT water and soaked it for a while then took an air compressor hose and forced air through it and it got all the crap out.

Theres a reason the previous owner disconnected the button for the rear wiper, he didn't want to deal with it.
