Hello everybody.
I'm totally new to this forum and to Mitsubishi as well. Just bought for my daughter 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder. Car looks and runs great. (Turns out that I'm more interested in a new toy than my daughter :) But I have few small problems. First: The central display for clock, radio, etc doesn't work. Its just blank. Nothing on the small lcd screen. What can be the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Might have blown a fuse, or the actual screen is just burned out, or you have a loose connection in the wiring of the clock. It could be any number of things.

Thank you for the quick reply. Do you know where I can find fuse box diagram. My car came without owners manual (previous owner lost it).
Thank you.

Does the cigarrete lighter work? My clock and cigarrete lighter didnt work and it was just a fuse. The diagram should be on the covers. Look on the inside of the driver door for the I think it shows a picture of what the fuse is for. Under the hood I think it only has numbers...I could be wrong.

Radio and cigarret lighter are in the driver door tho. At least for my GT (not spyder)

Also later my radio stopped working and I had to tap into the cigarret lighter for power. Not sure on the stock radios.

If you can't find the diagram on the cover of the fuse panel, look in the pinned topic(s) titled, 3g Online Service Manual, or 3g Wiring Diagram. It should be in one of those 2. Happy Hunting.

Kinda a dumb question but does it have a aftermarket radio installed?
Just to be sure.

Holden,
Million of thanks. Worked exactly as you've said. FUSE it is, and cigarette lighter was a lead as well. Put new fuse and now everything is in perfect working order.
Thanks again. Very helpful board.

Glad to have helped you! :) I had the same problem for about three months I checked the fuses all looked good. then later decided to try a new fuse there and it worked. Old one looked good to the naked eye.
