here is the ad, no pic included:

a frankenstein stage 2 turbo good for 300Hp for sale asking 250$
about 9k on the turbo. no shaft play and in working order.

besides the install what do u guys think of price and such? sound like a good deal, steal, or ?

Your all idiots. All of you and Pwee I'm ashamed that you've never heard of the Frankenstein turbos. They are badass turbos, but they aren't made anymore. Extreme Motor Sports used to sell them and recommend them.

They are basically hybrid turbos if I remember correctly. Mixed and matched from other companies... hence the name.

so then frankenstein is a catch all riced up name like t3/t4 hybrid? all of the mixed and matched turbo's ive ever seen had specific names to denote their construction like: disco potato, baby kahuna, big kahuna, etc. not stage 2 frankenstein.

as far as I'm concerned this is a halloween creature
