ok so i bought a clutch for my 7 bolt motor then we swapped the 6 bolt motor in and it has bad clutch, so im wondering why i cant use the 7 bolt clutch on 6 bolt makes no sense to me, every clutch maker online says that this clutch is for 89-99 eclipse... im ocnfused and will the pressure plate from 7 bolt work on 6 bolt??

pressure plate and clutch disc would work, flywheel won't

The flywheel has to many holes and the pattern is wrong.

i knew the flywheels wouldnt work. i went back and looked at the pressure plate and the way it mounts onto the 7 bolt flywheels is different than the 6 bolt, the 7 bolt has little dils sticking out that you mount it on where as the 6 bolt is all flush. so i guess ill just buy a pressure plate.

Do the bolts line up? You could always grind it down flush if the bolt pattern is the same.

Bad idea, if the flywheel isn't balanced say goodbye crank.
