if i remember, my old n/t talon used to make a vague whistling noise at certain RPMs. i never really worried about it. as a matter of fact, i kinda liked the whistle. no idea why. i never found out what caused it though; but at least the whistle, from my car, didnt hurt anything.

might be from the air rushing into the filter on the intake, my old car used to do that...

Is this a recent problem or did it have it since you owned the car? Have you ever driven another turbo car?

I ask because tubos make a whislting noise really starting around 3K, depending on your turbo model. And if it started after you installed a K&N air filter, or some other intake modification, yes, it will get louder.

just a question do you know what noise a turbo makes??? just asking... other than that alot of catalytic converters get clogged on these cars making a whistling noise.
