here's the problem, I'm about to make a deal with this store about some 19" or 20" XIX X05 rims, which one should I get? need your help guys, this is happening today september 19, 2008.
19X8.5 or 20X8.5 both 5x114.3 bolt pattern, i'm worried that 20 might look to big and might not suite the lancer, fitment wise i know they will both fit without problems.
here are the rims i'm talking about.

i was leaning more towards the 19's but for some reason 20's are cheaper.
Well other than the size, what do you guys think about the rims?

The 1st pic of rims looks great alot of like those stock evo x rims :)
yeah over here in my area, the bigger rims size dose tend to cost a bit cheaper than the smaller size for instance,19" are much cheaper than 18" rims but guess wat ? the more bigger the tyres in size is and its gonna cost a bomb when ur going to changed ur tyres, luckily my lancer gts is not a 4WD otherwise i would be spending alot on tyres rather on rims :D however not sure abt the tyre pricing in your country.

Ooooo tight rims :D Are you gonna go with the chrome or solid black? Not a fan of the black rims myself, but with your two-tone look, it would be aiight.

I think 20's are cheaper because there's not a demand for them. They're cheap here in Canada aswell. Like you gentlemen said before me, most see 20's on SUV's or trucks, and there's more ppl that would buy nicer rims for thier cars than SUV's/truck's. Just a thought.

i say go for 20". you can look on cardomain and see how it looks on ppls lancers.
To check if you like it. To me it is not much of a difference 19-20, but take a look.
Tires for 20 should be easier to find than 19s. I think odd number tires are not in stock as much as even numbered. Not a fact, just IMO.

I have seen them both and I personally do not like the 20s. 19s would be the biggest I would go with. Plus 19s will ride a tad smoother but not a major difference. All silver and no black are my favorite.

20's would be overall cheaper in the long run. 19" tires are usually way more expensive than 18" and 20".

20s are how shall I say this.... ghetto.

I do love the deep dish look though. They look nice, I don't like really shiney rims but these are nice.

haha

IMHO stick with 18's lol or 19's, but you will lose MPGs going bigger rim size.. And i dont think lancers are meant to put big rims on, because its not that kind of a car.

I say dont even go over 18, but thats just me.
